WHO IS RC LOGGER / DRONEART?

RC Logger is a brand managed by CEI Conrad Electronic International (HK) Limited. In 2010, the idea was born out of combining image, including photo and video, as well as telemetry data into one compact logging device for remote controlled (RC) applications – the name “RC Logger’ was brought to life.

Since then, the brand has evolved into successful engineering and building of unique multirotor-systems utilizing advanced micro controller and sensing technology. As we dove further into this area, our sole focus turned into creating drones that stood out from the crowd and offer an out-of-the-box flight experience to the user.

We have always stayed very involved with our community base and continue to do so. Our aim is to develop the “innovative difference” with our customers often being sought for input of what they want to see in our developments. It is not just science but rather the “Art of Building Drones” that drives and centers our efforts.

WHERE CAN I PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCTS?

Purchase of all our products can be made directly at our Drone Art store. We also sell selected items through Amazon (Prime) and have retailers all across the world selling selected items. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS SAFE?

Safety is a top priority to us as we want to ensure that our customers feel confident when using our products. Most of our drones have features that are built-in such as auto-stop props and emergency stop to ensure safety. All RC Logger / DroneArt products are CE and FCC certified, including EMC, product safety and LVD (where applicable) for use in the EU and the US/Canada. These certifications cover most international requirements. Additional certifications for Japan and other markets are available for selected items.

Drones of course are flying objects and so we encourage our customers to ALWAYS follow the safety guidelines accompanying each product. Also, please take time to familiarize yourself with the rules and regulations being imposed in your area for unmanned aerial vehicles to ensure that you are following the proper local laws.

Note: Unauthorized conversion and/or modification of the device are inadmissible because of safety and approval reasons (CE / FCC). Any usage other than described in the operating instructions is not permitted because it may damage the product and lead to associated risks such as short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. Please read the operating instructions thoroughly and keep them for further reference.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED?

Absolutely! All of our products are designed and produced according to safety standards of the European Union (EU), US, and also Japan (for products sold there). Approvals have been issued and CE has been declared. Also, we have required FCC markings on our products to comply with all regulations. If you wish to obtain a copy of the approval documents, please contact us via the contact form. Additional certification documents and approvals are available for selected markets and products, please contact us for related details.

IS THERE ANY PRODUCT LIABILITY?

We do not assume liability for resulting damages to property or personal injury if the product has been abused in any way or damaged by improper use or failure to observe the operating instructions. If a product is used outside of context of use, then warranty/guarantee will be void. The icon with exclamation mark indicates important information in the operating instructions. Carefully read the whole operating instructions included with the product before operating the device, otherwise, there is risk of danger.

IS THERE A USER MANUAL AVAILABLE FOR MY PRODUCT?

You can find the user manual, quick start guides and any other resources for each product either on the product page or under our Downloads section. Although all of our products offer a Quick Start Guide to the customer, we choose to keep the Full User Manual in a digital format. This allows us easily update and make changes that are necessary to keep the manual current example: A software update to the product that adds new features.

WHERE CAN I ACCESS THE SOFTWARE/ FIRMWARE UPDATE FOR MY PRODUCT?

The latest software updates for each product can be found on the product page or under Downloads section. Most updates will be in a .zip format and will include not only the update, but also instructions on how to perform the update and any information regarding instructions on any new features.

I AM HAVING AN ISSUE WITH MY PRODUCT OR HAVE A QUESTION. HOW DO I CONTACT YOU?

ARE THERE ANY OTHER PLACES THAT I MIGHT FIND HELPFUL IN LEARNING MORE ABOUT MY PRODUCT?

We like to ensure that we give as much helpful information to our customers as possible and for this very reason, we have created a YouTube Channel and also have a Vimeo Channel as well. Here, you will find resources for complete video tutorials that cover just about anything you can think of for a product.

From calibrations, preparing for first flight, repairing/replacing a broken component, to performing a firmware update, you’ll find a lot of helpful resources via our video libraries on YouTube and Vimeo.

WHAT ARE THE METHODS OF PAYMENT?

PayPal is currently the preferred method of payment at the Drone Art shop. It is one of the most accepted forms of payment worldwide that offers protection to you as a customer.

At the final step of the checkout procedure, you will be automatically redirected to PayPal to complete the transaction. If you don’t have a PayPal account yet, setup is secure, quick, easy and free. Don’t want to create a new account with PayPal? PayPal offers to process your payment without the need of creating a new account.

From early 2018 onward you will be offered additional payment options during the checkout process including Apple Pay and direct credit card payments via Stripe.

SHIPPING COST.

Starting from February 2018 all shipping rates are calculated by our logistic partner Easyship based on a table and are accurate. Although we ship worldwide, we may at our discretion, request additional shipping fees if the products are being delivered in remote areas where our standard rates do not cover the actual transportation cost. In such case, we will inform you through a separate email before we ship out the goods to you.

SHIPPING TIME.

Drone Art products available in stock are shipped out via express shipping either provided by DHL or UPS or any other forwarder based on the selection made during the checkout process. In special cases we may ship with other carefully selected service partners. In such case you will be notified ahead of the shipment.

Orders are usually processed within 24 hours during weekdays or the following workday. Shipping via DHL or UPS takes between 3 to 5 days. Shipping time for other providers is indicated during the checkout process.  Tracking information is provided for all orders shipped except mentioned otherwise during the checkout process.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO PICK-UP ITEMS LOCALLY?

We regret that local pick-up service is not available at the moment. Our goods are stored at our warehouse which is inaccessible to the public.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE ITEM I RECEIVE IS DEFECTIVE?

Should the item you receive be defective, DroneArt.Com offers an exchange program. Simply contact us within 7 days of delivery. Our staff will communicate with you to ensure you have a replacement as soon as possible.
