Hi Chris and Jamie, I went through calibration of gyro, compass and TX. All supposedly went well. Fired up the motors. The front LED is yellow and rear flashes yellow. I don’t see any mention of that in the manual.(I downloaded the full version of the manual) When I change the flight modes from GPS to Basic to acro the LED’s stay yellow. Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi Jim.
It should indicate that you have the gimbal flight mode activated. This is a special tuned mode once a gimbal is detected. The mode is a smooth flight mode especially for Aerial video taking. You can disable this via the App.
@Jamie: Please correct me if I am wrong 😀Best regards,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly Chris. I’ll look at that when I get home. I don’t have a gimbal installed however. By the way, the leg lights are awesome.

That seemed to work. I turned off auto gimbal mode. I notice the switches are not set up exactly like the Nav. Nav has GPS BASIC EXPERT on upper left 3 way. Nav has SAFE SPORT RACE on upper right 3 way. Nova is different.

Oh I think I see it now. Page 39 of manual. You probably have to customize to turn off all gyros and accelerometers. Not that I can fly that way.

Chris beat me to it and nailed it. 😛
Looks like you already got it figured out Jim.
As for the switches being different you are correct. There is slightly different variances due to the slight variances of flight modes between the Navigator and NovaX.
You good on everything else for the NovaX and ready for flying?
