    Hey Jim,

There are still pilots out there flying it for sure. Actually it still regularly sells also. 🙂

I know every once in a while I pull mine out and throw it around in the back yard.

Perhaps I should bring mine with me to US next month so we both can fly our EOX in your back yard together. Mine is still in a perfect share and ready to perform 🙂 Still love its flying characteristics. It’s really something special.

Couldn’t agree more. Jim, I’ll be travelling the US this coming September and I will take a least two drones with me – it’s just not good without them 😀 Where about are you located in the US?

That must be a very nice area to live in. I will not be close to your area while I travel the US this month. Still, I will bring a drone with me to fly it when and wherever I can 😀
By the way. Everything okay now with your T-Shirt delivery?

    Best regards,

T shirt is great except that they made it so dark grey that  you cant easily see your logo or website.

Bad for you because you lose advertising. While we’re here, is there a reason why the original EOX does not seem to like three blade props? I’ve tried 5045 and 6045 and it makes it very wobbley. Mostly during deceleration.

Hi Jim. Thanks for the feedback regarding the shirts 🙂 We’ll make sure that future designs pay better attention to our logo and website.

As for the propellers, this is rather difficult to say since a number of factors affect the performance of various propeller types mounted onto a drone. The original EOX flight controller is installed with a firmware that best caters for the specifically designed stock propellers of the original EOX. Some years back, in the days the EOX was developed, the propeller design and flight control algorithm has been the key characteristics that made the original EOX so special. The original propellers are shaped rather unique, it’s what provides such a smooth, yet powerful  flying experience. Unfortunately the flight parameters can’t be adjusted by the pilot to perhaps match other propeller types. Today the technology has changed significantly allowing a wide range of adjustments a pilot may want to perform. But again, this can be tricky as well since so many variables affect not only the overall performance but affect each other as well.

I have not tested any other propellers in the past since I was just amazed how well the original propellers perform in terms of flight characteristics. There might be another propeller out there that works well with the original EOX – I believe it’s a matter of try and error.

      Best regards,
      Chris aka MatLi
